Another new series for HiHo, Don’t You Dare is a game where children are subjected to timed rounds of awesome extravagant activities, but can only move on to the next round if they fulfill the episodes prompt (don’t move, don’t laugh, don’t scream, etc.). Last one remaining wins the grand prize! For this project, I was tasked with creating the visual identity, illustrations, and animations, all in a short period of time. With the design, I wanted to capture the playful, silly, and surprisingly energetic nature of the show. Keeping it simple, I relied on the the kinetic energy of the type to express this, while also adding illustrations to each of the title cards for the rounds that hinted at what tempting activity was to come.
